When this license starts
This license is issued by Fred Web Systems LLC for Lasting Lyrics. It applies only after the applicable package has been paid for and the final deliverables have been made available. It covers only the files and assets included in that purchased package. If a purchase is refunded, the license for the refunded deliverables ends as described in the Refund and Make-It-Right Policy.
Permitted personal use
To the extent Lasting Lyrics owns or controls rights in the delivered work, we grant you and the intended personal recipient a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide, nontransferable license to:
- play the song at your personal wedding, proposal, vow renewal, anniversary, or other personal event;
- keep personal copies and use the included files for personal listening and keepsakes;
- share the song through ordinary personal, noncommercial social posts or private messages; and
- give the file to a venue, DJ, planner, officiant, videographer, or other event vendor solely to play or display it at your personal event or include it in your personal keepsake.
You may include the song in your own noncommercial wedding or event video, slideshow, or personal keepsake. A vendor may not use it in that vendor's portfolio, advertising, paid promotion, public sample library, or monetized channel without separate written permission.
Uses not included
Without separate written permission, you may not sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, assign, or commercially distribute the song; upload it to a stock or music library; use it in advertising, a brand campaign, a business or client project, a paid promotion, a political message, a broadcast or monetized channel; train a model; or use it to imply a person's endorsement.
Nothing here prevents you from calling it your commissioned or personalized song. Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, this license does not transfer copyright ownership, promise exclusive worldwide rights, or permit you to falsely claim that you alone wrote, composed, performed, or own every protectable element.
Your submitted material
You keep your rights in material you submit, subject to the limited permission needed for us to create, review, store, support, and deliver the order. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit names, stories, photos, reference materials, and other content. You may not ask us to incorporate material that you do not have the right to use.
Creative and intellectual-property limitations
Reference songs communicate broad direction and do not authorize copying a composition, lyrics, recording, or a specific person's voice. We intend to create delivered songs only while a paid third-party music-generation tier that permits our intended commercial use is active for the account creating the song. That provider's commercial-use grant does not guarantee copyright protection. We do not guarantee copyright registration, absolute uniqueness, or exclusive ownership of a composition, musical style, chord progression, production technique, or other general creative element. Copyright protection for material created with modern music tools depends on the human creative contribution and other facts under applicable law.
Package assets and service materials
This license does not include instrumentals, stems, isolated vocals, prompts, project files, source sessions, unused drafts, private production notes, or other production materials unless the package expressly includes them or we separately agree in writing. The website, templates, branding, and service tools remain ours or our licensors'.
Termination and questions
This license ends automatically for refunded deliverables and may be terminated for a material breach after notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure when appropriate. On termination, stop using the affected files and delete copies, except as required by law or a documented dispute.
